| Larkin Dance Studio"Shine `09"! Every spring we have a spectacular performance in full costume with scenery and lighting. Last season, the spring recital was staged at Northwestern College. Every student is eligible to perform, however, it is not obligatory. Costumes are purchased by the students and the average cost is $35 to $45 each. The spring performance is an opportunity for your child to show his/her progress and have the unforgettable experience of appearing on stage in front of a live audience. Performance night is a family night and we welcome your participation. Performances throughout the year are available to those students who are ready to perform before an audience. Dance training is a very special experience for your child.
It
is not only an enjoyable activity but one from which your child can learn social
graces, coordination, physical fitness, appreciation of the arts, poise, and
grace. Dance enhances gymnastics, cheerleading, figure skating, and all other
athletics. Our staff stresses showmanship, technique, and how to be the best
you can be. This principle is stressed through disciplined classrooms, and a sense of responsibility is instilled in every student.
Classes are designed to give each student personal attention. Our dance season starts in September when school starts and runs through the end of May.
Ticket Sales for the Recital will be Friday, April 16, 2010. Please call 651-770-0764 if you are interested in ordering tickets, but are unable to make it that day.
