DANCE WORKSHOPS

Dance workshops are a unique opportunity to participate in master classes presented by international and national esteemed teachers. Students benefit from the high level of expertise of these dance professionals. These classes will help the students to improve in specific areas of technique. While taking classes, students are being observed for scholarship considerations that are awarded at the end of the workshop.

Attendance at workshops is not required but it is encouraged. A student may be asked by the studio to attend
if the dancer has a solo or is part of a group/line that will compete at the workshop. Some possible workshops include the following:

JUMP is proud to be the largest dance convention in the world, touring to 26 US cities and 4 international cities. A typical convention weekend lasts from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon and is jam-packed with all things DANCE! Each event includes a top-rate workshop in numerous styles of dance: Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz-Funk, Musical Theater, Lyrical and Ballroom. JUMP also offers a first-class competition with fair, credible judging in a fun and supportive environment. The weekend concludes with a fantastic closing show, scholarship presentations and faculty performances!
