Founded in 1950, Larkin Dance Studio is a family-owned and operated full-service dance studio specializing in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro, and pointe instruction.

Our professional staff share their passion for dance with over 900 students from the Twin Cities area, including approximately 200 students who compete in regional and national dance competitions.

Currently Larkin offers over 40 classes for recreational students of all skill levels ages three to adult who wish to take class once or twice a week. To allow each student an appropriate amount of one-on-one attention, classes are typically limited to 12-15 dancers. Every class gets to showcase their skills and growth in our highly anticipated and attended end-of-year recital each spring.

We currently have ten competition lines (including two adult lines) for students ages four and up. The competition lines are for dedicated dancers who wish to take several classes a week as well as compete in regional and national competitions. Our dancers and lines continually win top honors in all genres of dance at each competition we attend, most importantly choreography, technique and entertainment.
